The 4th China Cold Chain and Cold Storage Development Summit Forum

China's cold chain and cold storage industries have demonstrated impressive growth in recent years, with significant potential for further expansion. However, as the central component of cold chain logistics, the cold storage industry still lags behind the air conditioning industry in terms of standardization and regulation.

The mandatory national standard, entitled "Minimum Energy Performance Standards and Energy Efficiency Grades for Cold Storage (Boxes) and Compression Condensing Units", has been subjected to a review process and is scheduled to be officially implemented on 1 February 2025.

This standard introduces Minimum Energy Performance Standards and Energy Efficiency Grades for Cold Storage (Boxes) and Compression Condensing Units products for the first time. It also raises requirements such as the difference between measured and rated temperatures for newly built cold storage facilities. This will effectively address prominent issues in the industry, such as market fragmentation, small-scale operations, inconsistent practices, and inefficiencies in the cold chain.

Seizing the moment and thinking ahead! On October 24th, the "4th China Cold Chain and Cold Storage Development Summit Forum," organized by the Worker Bee Alliance and hosted by Hangzhou Fima Expo Co., Ltd. , will be grandly held at the Hangzhou International Expo Center.

The Summit Forum specially invites the drafters of the Minimum Energy Performance Standards and Energy Efficiency Grades for Cold Storage (Boxes) and Compression Condensing Units and representatives from companies involved in drafting the standard to provide an in-depth interpretation of the industry standard. It expected 200 more attendees, including including government representatives from the refrigeration and cold storage sectors, renowned experts and scholars, manufacturers, engineers, and cold storage material suppliers.

The forum will analyse the underlying logic of the industry's prosperity and challenges, guided by technological development trends, market demand and long-term business growth. It will also explore new models for the sustainable development of the cold chain and cold storage industries in collaboration with industry partners.

The 4th China Cold Chain and Cold Storage Development Summit Forum has always been regarded as an important platform for communication and dialogue within the refrigeration and cold storage industry.
